Sunshine Childcare aims to provide quality, affordable childcare for whānau. We will talk you through the current fees and sessions for the centre and care your child needs.
Current offers
We offer 30 free hours for 3–5 year olds, with no hidden costs . Our top-up of the Government's 20 Hours ECE. Conditions apply. Ask our team how this works for your child.
When two or more children attend Sunshine Childcare at the same time, families receive 10% off the child with the highest fees. Conditions apply.
New enrolments at Sunshine on Sunshine can receive one month free. Conditions apply—ask our team about this Sunshine Ave offer.

Fee payments
Fees are paid one week in advance of enrolment commencement. Absences are charged at full rates. Sunshine is closed only on statutory holidays, which are charged at full rates. Early and late fees may apply. Each child receives a fee holiday of three weeks, pro rata, per calendar year after three months’ enrolment; it must be taken within that calendar year.
WINZ childcare subsidy
The Government supports many families with a WINZ childcare subsidy. Eligibility depends on family circumstances, income and hours worked or studied. Sunshine administrators can help you work through the process, provide forms on site and discuss your situation. Apply three to four weeks before you need the subsidy to start. To check eligibility, call 0800 599 099. The childcare subsidy can be used at both our Hamilton centres.
